Overview

Discover the magic of winter through hands-on art and science activities! In this engaging class, young learners will explore winter themes like snow, ice, and seasonal changes while creating beautiful crafts and conducting simple experiments. From designing snowflakes to exploring the science of frost, this class blends creativity and curiosity to inspire a love for both art and science. A work sample opportunity will be provided. Recommended for grades TK-1, but all students are welcome.

By the end of the course, students will have learned the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, including creating, pricing, marketing, and selling their own homemade products. The class will culminate in a fun, virtual "student market" where students can share their businesses and "sell" their products in a supportive environment. Each week, student will also learn a skill they can market to give them ideas for the Student Market. A work sample opportunity will be provided. Recommended for grades 4-5, but all students are welcome.

We are going to take a trip around the world and explore what it is like to live in different countries. We will talk about the different cultures and how living there may be different from what life is like living here in America. Lastly, we will conclude each class by learning about a type of art that is traditionally done in that specific country. Students will have an opportunity to participate by making their own version of that type of art.  A work sample opportunity will be provided. Recommended for grades TK-1, but all students are welcome.

Plus, we’ll dive into how to take care of your mental health so you can feel your best every day. Get ready for fun activities, cool discussions, and super tips for feeling happy, strong, and ready for anything!  A work sample opportunity will be provided. Recommended for grades 2-3, but all students are welcome.
