MS/HS - Social Studies - US Eras Review: 20s-60s (S7)

Overview
Come on an 'Eras Tour' of US History. Students will get a glimpse into major events of that shaped the 20s, 40s, 60s & 80s. A work sample opportunity will be provided. Recommended for grades 6-12, but all students are welcome.

Math - Lower - Going on a Shape Hunt (S7)

Overview
Students will learn names of shapes, two-dimensional shapes, three-dimensional shapes, how to compare two and three-dimensional shapes apart, and how to solve word problems. Each week we will focus on a different topic as well as review concepts covered the week prior. A work sample opportunity will be provided. Recommended for grades TK-1, but all students are welcome.

Math - Middle - Geometry, Shapes, and More (S7)

Students will practice naming and drawing shapes, dividing shapes into parts with equal areas to show those areas as fractions, and finding the area of a rectangle. Each week we will focus on a different topic as well as review concepts covered the week prior. A work sample opportunity will be provided. Recommended for grades 2-3, but all students are welcome.

Math - Upper - Geometry Giants (S7)

Students will learn different measurement systems, how to convert from one to another, how to use a protractor and find missing angles, and how to find volume both with cubes and following the formula. A work sample opportunity will be provided. Recommended for grades 4-5, but all students are welcome.
