Let’s learn about the many different communities and people who make them great! Also, we will learn about the history of the Native Americans and the tradition of the totem pole. While learning about these lessons, we will also see how we fit in and contribute to our communities. A work sample opportunity will be provided. Recommended for grades K-1, but all students are welcome.

Come learn more about our new nation from 1789 to the Mid-1800s. Now that we’re independent, what came next? Who was coming to America, where were they going, and how was our brand new country changing to adapt to all this growth, new people, and new discoveries? Come on an 'Eras Tour' of US History. Students will get a glimpse into major events of that shaped the 20s, 40s, 60s & 80s. A work sample opportunity will be provided. Recommended for grades 6-12, but all students are welcome.

Math - Lower - Going on a Shape Hunt (S7)

Overview
Students will learn names of shapes, two-dimensional shapes, three-dimensional shapes, how to compare two and three-dimensional shapes apart, and how to solve word problems. Each week we will focus on a different topic as well as review concepts covered the week prior. A work sample opportunity will be provided. Recommended for grades TK-1, but all students are welcome.

Students will learn different measurement systems, how to convert from one to another, how to use a protractor and find missing angles, and how to find volume both with cubes and following the formula. Opinion Writing for Young Children. Calling all pet lovers! Let’s share about our favorite pets and learn how to write an opinion piece. Children love to listen to stories about animals. This course will help them learn how to express themselves on paper through drawings, dictation, and writing. Recommended for grades TK, K, and 1, but all students are welcome.

Language Arts - Middle - Grammar Can Be FUN! (S7)

Overview
Yes, grammar CAN be fun! Using standard English in speech and writing, this interactive course will review a few different grammar rules each week. Students will have fun with apostrophes, synonyms, and parts of speech. Lots of hands-on learning in this course! Recommended for grades 2 and 3, but all students are welcome.
