From our favorite things to putting feelings and thoughts on paper through texture, line, and color choice. A work sample opportunity will be provided. We will dive into the explorations of men and women who traveled from the east to the west in North America. Who did they meet? What adventures did they have? What stories do they have to tell? Students will learn about the brave people who helped begin our independent country and the freedoms they were seeking. Come join us as we learn about the American Revolution and who were the important players in the founding of the United States of America. A work sample opportunity will be provided. Students will learn how to show measurement using line plots, create a line plot, draw and use bar graphs, and solve word problems involving measure. Language Arts - Lower - Grammar Can Be FUN! (S6)

Overview
Yes, grammar CAN be fun! Using standard English in speech and writing, this interactive course will review a few different grammar rules each week. Students will have fun learning about parts of speech, the difference between simple and compound sentences, and ending punctuation. Lots of hands-on learning in this course! Recommended for grades TK - 1, but all students are welcome.
